We stand out from the crowd
Mountain Sounds is a brand new DJ service based out of Livermore, a small town northwest of Fort Collins. Mountain Sounds was founded in 2004 by Jake Wood, noticing that the Livermore / Red Feather area was in need of a professional DJ service that wouldn't charge extra for drive-time; and that even Fort Collins, for that matter, could use another quality, affordable DJ. Only now have we decided to make our services available to the general public, now that all the appropriate equipment and a large enough library of music is available.
Jake Wood, the DJ of Mountain Sounds, has been DJ-ing for 5 years. Starting out as a bedroom DJ, he slowly became better and better with both digital mixing and CD mixing. Every gig since our launch has been a great success and has gotten rave reviews from both audience members and the planners.
Recently, Mountain Sounds has joined "A DJ Revolution," an association of DJs who want to bring a more ethical mission to members of the mobile DJ industry. Mountain Sounds adheres to these principles, and they are listed here.
