Mountain Sounds believes that the user shouldn't be able to buy and keep an entire DJ setup for the same price as hiring a DJ. This setup wouldn't have the best of best equipment, but for the same price as a lot of DJs (even those in Colorado), you could purchase your own DJ setup. However, this is not the case with our services.
In this page we'll explain in plain English our rates.
First, there is a $100 booking fee that is refundable until up to two weeks (fourteen days) before your event. For instance, if your event is on May 24th, and you decide to cancel on May 2nd, your money is refundable. If you cancel on May 14th, your money is not refundable. The booking fee is due immediately upon signing a contract. You can pay your booking fee by credit card through PayPal if you want.
After your event is over, there is a fixed hourly rate of $100/hour due immediately in cash or check. However, you can pay by credit card anytime between the time that the booking fee is paid for and the day of your event (but must be paid before arrival).

Rates are subject to change at any time. The rates that apply are those stated in the print version of your signed contract.
